In October, my husband and I closed our studios for two weeks so we could explore the magical country of Italy. I think ‘love at first sight’ is an understatement and we now understand why fellow travelers have returned from their visits with a shared affection for this land. So these are my love letters, paintings written on paper, inviting you to reminisce with me.

This piece is an 18" x 12" original, placed behind a white 24" x 18" mat. All you have to do is pop it in an 18 x 24 ready-made frame and you’re set! Each piece from the “Italian Love Letters” series was created with watercolors, acrylics, and dry media on thick watercolor paper. Each painting has been signed and titled on the back. Each piece has been taped into its mat with acid free artist tape which can be removed if you would like to mat it differently.
